Welcome Baby Zelie | Newborn

Zelie Theresa Parquette. The most adorable, beautiful baby I've ever seen. But I'm biased because she's my niece. Born on Sept 20th, 2018, baby Zelie was 1 week past her due date!
I was so incredibly happy to be able to travel and make it to the baby shower (held after Zelie was born) and meet little Zelie. The photos I had taken for my sister's maternity session were in-home style - or lifestyle photos. And so, to continue the theme, I snapped some newborn pictures the same way.
I love the feel of the home. With these pictures, I try to rearrange and straighten things minimally. I wanted to the pictures to reflect my sister's life and the beauty of the new life and even the messiness that comes with it. I believe that there is always a way to find beauty even in chaos and so I want these pictures to reflect that.
