A little about me...

Hey there! Welcome to the blog! I'm so glad you're here! I thought a "get-to-know me" post was in order since I haven't done one yet.

Let's start with the basics. I'm 27 years old (as of 2020), wife to the most caring husband, and boy-mom to the sweetest little babe. I love being a wife and mom - it's been my dream ever since I can remember.

I love chocolate, avocados, mac 'n cheese, and sweet tea. The smell of coffee is delicious, but the taste is a no-go for me.

My favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis and their works are my favorite books. I think my favorite book ever, though, is "Leaf by Niggle" by J.R.R. Tolkien. I read it every year.

"The Office" is my favorite TV show of all time, closely followed by "Downton Abbey." You'll probably see lots of quotes from "The Office" in my emails.

I only just recently realized that I don't have a favorite season - whichever season it is, is my favorite at the time. I love all of them!

I'm one of six kids, and so have always enjoyed a big family. I want my own big family someday - or as Michael Scott says, "I want to be married and have a hundred kids so I can have a hundred friends, and no one can say no to being my friend." #truth

I'm not much into sports, but I will ALWAYS root for the St. Louis Cardinals in baseball.
